What's in the HQ? | |
The boring stuff... | Oh, the boring stuff... however, I must tell you about myself. If you're interested that is, and/or if you don't know me. |
The Master's Star Wars Page | Check here often for Star Wars sounds, movies, pictures and other neat stuff about the best movie ever made by human beings!!! |
Jan's page O'Links | Here you'll find very neat places to check out... if you are, unlike me, the link-type. But just because I don't like 'em does not mean I'm not putting them! I mean, what's a Web Site without links? They make a perfect way to provide the user (you) with a quick and easy way to exit a site! Don't you think so? |
The Master's Game Reviews | Here I'll make fun, I mean, give my opinion, about games that are coming out (or already came out) for different platforms. Among them the PC, of course, Playstation, and Nintendo 64. If you don't like what I say, you don't have to believe any of it. |
Oh, all right, the boring stuff. My name is Jan M. Gonzalez and sometimes I refer to myself as "The Master", unless my machine doesn't wanna work right, but that I'm not gonna talk about here, or am I? Nah. I am a third-year college student at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus, otherwise known as RUM. I study Computer Enginnering and I'm proudly STAYING IN ICOM, DAMMIT! (ICOM=Computer Engineering Department) When I was in eighth grade I got my first computer and since then I haven't been able to keep my hands off one... Oh, well... Oh yeah, I am The Apartment's Web Master, and yes, I wrote the entire thing on Notepad in case you don't believe me.
It's been a year since I moved here to The Apartment, but I had already met my roommates, since they're my friends, so I knew what I was gonna have to face when I moved, I mean, I knew I was gonna have nice roommates... Last summer I learned to write pages in HTML (using Notepad, as you might already know) so I thought, maybe I should start working on my page...or make a page about The Apartment! (In Notepad) So that's how I got the idea. Oh, in the summer I worked in numerous web sites, but two especially I made from scratch. One of these is Academia del Perpetuo Socorro's Web Site, the high school of which I graduated from. The other one is ComputerLand of San Juan Web Site, a site that I did along with my friend Juan Del Rio. Both of these I made while working at Abalon Corp., a cool site. I learned a lot while working there, but the thing that I liked the most was working with Dynamic HTML...
Right now I'm working at the Banco Popular, Programming Department in Cupey. I am currently learning how the Oracle Database works and learning some SQL language used to manipulate databsases. More info on this as it develops.
Did I mention that I wrote this site using Notepad?
